Terry Goodkind ROCKS
Oct. 23rd, 2004 11:24 pmI love the "Sword of Truth" series. I've gotten the next four books in the series, and he's going to be coming out with another one. Sweet.
-D: *grin* Glad to see you found a book series you really like.-
Yeah, me too. For those unfamiliar with the books, the "Sword of Truth" series features the trials and tribulations of Richard and Kahlan (a last name plays a part in the first books, so you'll excuse me if I leave it out) as they struggle to find love together and to defeat powerful enemies. They're absolutely incredible. They're also very thick, so make sure to schedule plenty of time to read them -- once you've picked them up, you won't be able to put them down.
The Titles:
Wizard's First Rule
Stone of Tears
Blood of the Fold
Temple of the Winds
Soul of the Fire
Faith of the Fallen
The Pillars of Creation
Naked Empire
The one forthcoming is Chainfire.
Spent a bit of time in the former Veronaville, making a new community lot I call "The Fair Ground." It's basically going to be a sort of all-in-one clothing, grocery, and games shop. I also plan to make a local swimming pool.
-VD: Sounds fun.-
Yeah, it is. I like building. And I like designing original stuff. Not that I don't like designing BTTF stuff, that is. . . . ;)
-VD2: Er -- are you going to make-?-
No, how on earth would I make a mental institution?
-VD2: *whew* Thanks.-
I could make Dr. Adams and make the SimDoc in Strangetown annoy the heck out of her.
-D: Don't get me involved in this, it's his grudge.-
She's in your world too -- "Dark Half."
-M: *frown* Oh, yeah, the first shrink I went to.-
Exactly. Gypsy's supposed to be Glenda Adams's counterpoint.
-VD2: *blinku* Glenda?-
*shrug* Why not? Her last name is masculine in nature too.
Oh, and stargurl -- vacate my friend's list. I didn't know who you were before, but now I do, and I don't want you there.
