Decided that I wanted to play the boys today. Tuesday, George finally had a work day. Although I liked the idea of weekends, I'm getting worried over how much the top jobs let you stay home. I'm so used to the old system -- grueling, but it brought in a paycheck every day. Doc called up Gypsy and had a nice conversation with her. When he got home, George had become a Mad Scientist, thus maxing out the science career. He also brought home Clara. Doc had to leave, so I had Marty and George chat with her instead -- Clara and Marty had the by-now familiar problem of finding common chat ground. I had George work on some body skill, not remembering until informed that his shift now went from 10:00 P. M. to 2:00 A. M. I quickly scheduled in some sleep for him. Doc called Gypsy again before bed and befriended her over the phone. :)
Wednesday, Doc had Gypsy over. Gypsy brought Mystie, and Doc best-friended the vampiress. He raised his relationship with Gypsy, then set about greening his needs. After he left for work, it was discovered that the piano was out of tune. One mechanical skill Marty tried valiantly to tune it, but kept having to yank his hands away to keep them from getting crushed by the lid. When Doc got home, he fixed it up, then called both Josie and Abijeet Cho. He best-friended Josie over the phone as well. I also encountered a bit of luck -- I accidentally directed him to use the thinking cap while he was in green Aspiration score. But instead of shorting out, it worked like normal. Whew!
-D: *puzzled* I thought they always failed unless you were Gold or higher.-
Not exactly. In Green Aspiration, I believe it's 50/50.
Thursday was a good day for George -- he went from neutral to fit from working so hard on gaining body skill. Good for you, George. Doc had his pal Cho over to satisfy some minor wants, and then he escaped a second time with the thinking cap in the green! I also had George make some medicine, which he sold for 66 simoleons. Late that night, I had Marty invite Jennifer over. Ironically enough, she rejected his caress -- I guess she was a little upset over the fact he hadn't called in a while. Marty made it up to her fast. Unfortunately, third time was the charm for poor Doc -- the cap malfunctioned, and he lost a logic skill point.
-D: Damn.-
-VD: Why did you keep putting it on--?-
Because I'm so used to you being in a high aspiration score, it never occurs to me!
-VD: Just like with Clara?-
Just like with Clara. Now do you believe that it was an accident?
-VD: *blush* *nodnod*-
Anyway, Friday started out with Doc and Marty playing chess -- I was rather desperately trying to boost their aspiration scores so they could properly use the objects. George was the only one who could at the moment. I also decided that since the boys had passed the 30,000 mark, they deserved a new sink and toilet. Now you have the nice comfy toilet and a sink in a piece of countertop.
-M: Cool.-
Anyway, I had Doc make some medicine, and he sold it for some good prices too, before sending him back to bed (I had to wake him up early to take care of his bladder). Once he woke up again, his wants included Josie and Mystie, so I had him invite Josie over. Josie brought Pollination Tech, and after letting Doc admire her, ate his hamburger. -.- George was off for the night, so he took the opportunity to gab with the alien, then made layer cake for him and Doc. Doc ended up playing piano and getting his ninth creativity point, pushing him back into gold/platinum territory. Yay! Marty had his own plans for the night. I'd finally decided to allow him a sneak out with one of his friends. He successfully got out and back, which was nice and brought him into Gold too.
-M: Who'd I sneak out with?-
Tina.
-M: Jesus, no wonder Jenny was upset.-
-J: *kissu* I know you wouldn't cheat on me.-
*points to music* Took me forever to find that song, and I'm glad I found it. I have to say, I like Linkin Park music. I should buy one of their CDs. "Numb" has special appeal to me, though. I was thinking about it when I part of one of my fan fics, the yet-to-be-posted "Tomorrow Came Again." I'll explain more when I get the fic up.
