crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
you are steelblue
#4682B4

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

Blue isn't bad, but I was hoping for purple.
I'm A 1960s Geek
You're pretty quirky and weird but we know you're smart and love you anyway!

This is what I actually got. . . .
I'm A 1980s Geek
Geek? Nerd? Who cares? You make your own culture and it's a lot more fun than anyone else's.

And this is what I wanted. :p (edited because I found out a combo for the proper 80s geek thing)

-D: So, how did the writing class go?-
It was quiet today -- only six people showed up, including me, the newbie. It's a pretty simple class -- each week the instructor gives out a suggested assignment -- you can choose not to do it if you want to write something else. The next week, everyone reads what they wrote, with those "on topic" (did the assignment) going first. All in all, it was a pretty nice place. I only have one complaint.
-M: That being?-
I'm the youngest person there. And I mean the youngest. Nothing against the over-60s set at all *surprise kissu Doc*, I was just expecting a few more young people. Oh well, no biggie. Certainly better than being the only girl in a classroom full of boys, like I was in my robotics class.
-VD: So what's the assignment?-
*pulls out paper* "Write a story or a poem featuring a character who has never spoken a word. Then -- magically - the character is given the chance to speak. But only for twenty minutes. What does he/she say?"
-VD: Sounds interesting enough.-
Yeah, I'm thinking of going with some sort of sci-fi theme to kick the story off. I just hope I can keep it down to a manageable length. I rarely write anything short, Necon stuff nonwithstanding.
-VD2: Well, I'd write some more of "BTTX-2" before starting that. I just saw MiniCrawler with his pencil at the ready.-
Let him come. I gotta write the new beginning for "Fire and Rain" first anyway. DocWolf, I'm sure you can distract him.
-DW: Yes, but I need some incentive -- this could get ugly.-
*produces container of Mom's turkey soup*
-DW: Soup?-
-D: *grin* Take it. I'd distract him for some.-
-DW: *grin* I'll go with my other self's counsel. *goes to distract MiniCrawler*-

Oh yes -- Have a happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] foxywriter, even if you don't want any more. :p
