Extreme Makeover Sims Edition
May. 22nd, 2005 09:27 pmFutzed around with Twin Oaks Park. I first created Gypsy and her family for later placement -- Gypsy's a toddler, and her younger sister April will be born later in-game.
-D: *beam*-
Unfortunately -- and I'm sorry about this, Gypsy -- it looks like she's going to be a very ugly kid. :( Toddler, Teenager selves are fine, Adult version is fine -- I designed it myself, of course -- but the look just does not fit on the kid.
-D: Damn. Oh well, I'm sure we've all had our awkward moments.-
That we have. She'll look somewhat different from her Strangetown self as well.
-M: I think we can live with that, so long as we can recongize her.-
I did, so. . . .
Then it was over to the Elder Von Brauns, as I'm calling Elias and Sarah now. I played them for a couple of days -- they called Emmett and Emily, Elias counterfeited more money, and Sarah got two promotions and is now an Executive Chef.
-VD: Go Mom!-
:D I've also rearranged the house a little to satisfy Elias's acquistionary wants:

The kid's bedroom is now a music room, and I've added a fireplace. I also gave Sarah a makeover -- I was sick of her conservative, ponytailed self.

-VD: O.o-
-VD2: o.O-
-OD: *tentacles chitter puzzledly* Wow. That doesn't look like Mom at all.-
Hehe, I guess getting a good job inspired her to change her look. I think that I'll send her shopping for new clothes the next time I play her. :p
-OD: *shrug* If twisting my childhood makes you happy. . . .-
Come on, you're out of the house and in college. Speaking of which -- meet the Mortes.

Arazel is the girl in white and is Family, John is the boy in black and is Popularity. I did somethign a little interesting with them -- I first moved them to a dorm, then sold off a bunch of stuff from the rooms so they could rent a house on-campus. Of course, even with my dorm sims (Weasleys, Love Story, and Patrickson) I generally always sell the dressers. That usually nets me some impressive cash for my college student. Anyway, I found a house near the Von Brauns. Unfortunately, it's kinda crummy, and their finances are very limited.

They're basically living off gelatin -- it lasts for 24 hours, so they can get breakfast and lunch out of last night's dinner. John's lifetime want is to be Mayor, so I made him a Political Science major, while Arazel got Philosophy. I played them through Semester One of Freshman year -- they both aced the final, got on the Dean's list, and got 1,200 each, which they desperately needed. John is also friends with Holly Handlen, while Arazel is acquaintances with Emily Von Braun. I plan for the five of them to become friends, and maybe even for John to marry Holly at some point in the future.
-D: Nice.-
Yup. :) Anyway, back to typing up "Eight Arms to Hold You."
-J: What about "Teen Doc?"-
I started revisions yesterday.
-M: Finally!-
