So I'm Lazy
Feb. 3rd, 2006 11:56 pm-D: TeenDoc, you want to invent a steampowered poking stick?-
-TD: I'm still finishing up plans for a steampowered guitar.-
Martys: *hug guitars to their chest fearfully*
Heh, well, I got some stuff done -- got my page in on "BTTX-2: Time of the Spider," wrote some on both "Dusky Past" and "Boy Genius" (hoping to finish out the journal on BG -- this story's gonna be a whopper), and drew the "Dingbots in Love" sketch.
-OD: Hmm. Even when you're rather lazy, you're productive.-
:p Neener Neener.
-VD: I still say we need that steampowered poking stick -- this can't last.-
Hey, come on, I'm gonna get to "V.D."!
-M2: You'd better, we want that story up already!-
In other drawing news, I posted "The Downside of Goggles" (I figured the title could be longer): See It Here. I also rescanned in "(Stripped) Naked and Dipped in Cheese" so it was on less of a tilt.
-OD: Not bad. And I have to say, I like the cartoon.-
-VD2: *giggling* I love it.-
*rolls eyes* I'm not that bad.
-Docs: *together* Yes you are.-
Hill Valley Parker House today! The Parkers are getting along well -- they had a nice breakfast together.

Then Jennifer had to go off to school. Robert was feeling lonely and wanted to make friends with a bunch of people -- I had him call up Veronica Lind since she was the highest scored and invite her over.

And what does Veronica immediately do? She Charms Robert!

-J: O.o She must really like Dad!-
Either that or she's a flirt -- they've got one bolt of chemistry, and it took them forever to be friends. I finally got up to friendship somewhere in the 70s for Robert. Well, at least she's an option. (Of course, once I decide on her, the game will give me a 3 bolt match from Robert's work.)

After that, Robert played a lot of chess to up his Logic score for work. Luckily he's the serious sort, so the learning went quickly.

Jennifer came home with a new friend, Sophie -- they chatted school while Robert had a grilled cheese lunch.

Jennifer then called up her pal Sandy Bruty and made best friends -- she's on a roll.

-AJ: Just out of curiosity, any of these Sims going to show up in the stories as my friends?-
Don't rule out the possibility. Anyway, I decided to send you and Marty off on a date. You called him up, and off you went to Lone Pine Mall.

You hung out in the parking lot for the beginning of the date, trading gossip and slow-dancing.

And then it was into the stores -- I had Jennifer pick up a few groceries while she was out.

-J2: O.o Ookay.-
Heh. Marty went to go look at clothes.

-M: O.O WTF?-
-VM: We don't do that voluntarily.-
-VJ: *deadpan* We know.-
Well, perhaps SimMarty knew he was gonna get some hot and heavy action behind the racks.

-M2: I like shopping now!-
*snrrk* I got the date up to Great -- unfortunately, I decided I wanted to try and fulfill the "Dine Out" want, and thus sent you guys to the unfinished Burger King.
Or, more accurately, I sent Jennifer there because Marty couldn't figure out how to get back in the Smoogo and wandered off. :( Date cancelled.
-J: Aw man-
Probaly for the best, as I kinda messed up making the restaurant -- I forgot the waiters had to get out!

Oh well. Jennifer came home and had some spaghetti instead, while Robert chatted on the computer with -- none other than Marty!

Random shot of Buford the Prick stealing the newspaper.

Robert called Veronica and was called by Amin as Jennifer did her homework and went to bed early -- her "non-date" wore her out.

Then Robert attempted his own supper of a hamburger and managed to start a fire. -.- Nice going.

Fireman Mitch arrived and extinguished the blaze, and Robert tipped him. Then it was back to bed for both Jennifer (who luckily woke up too late to freak at the fire and this painted for a bit) and Robert.
-M: Exciting day.-
Yeah. Wish the date had turned out better, though.
And now, finally, ( The Movie Meme )
Big thank you to
