Sims Interrupted
Feb. 8th, 2006 10:45 pmAs a) I ended up watching Dr. Phil with Mom (had a shockingly obese man on, around 1,000 pounds, gah) and b) the parents got Tim Burton's Corpse Bride on DVD for us to watch. I liked it, but I don't think Mom and Dad did.
-D: Well, it is a rather unusual movie.-
Granted. Some thoughts:
-->Damn, Victor's cute! I don't know what it is, but he's adorable.
-->He's also stronger than he looks -- he does his share of physical stuff (including climbing onto a balcony). Seriously, you wouldn't expect it from a guy so thin he looks like he'd bruise in a stiff wind.
-->The movie's actually fairly short (we started at 8 and ended at around 9:30, and that was WITH an interruption). The story moves very fast.
-->I like both Corpse Bride/Emily and Victoria. They're both hopeless romantics and both aren't afraid to go and get what they want. I can just see them getting together over tea and discussing how cute Victor is.
-TD: I would have gone for Emily myself, if only because I -- sort of already have.-
Heh, well, Construct Clara isn't visibly decomposing.
-H: I hope she isn't invisibly decomposing, that would be awkward.-
-TD: o.O-
No, no, she's not decomposing at all. You're safe.
-TD: Whew-
-VD: It was a weird movie, but it had good music.-
*nodnod* Excellent songs. If you're into somewhat morbid humor and like Tim Burton in general, I'd recommend watching this movie.
-OD: So what's the productivity rating for today?-
Lots of "Boy Genius," typing and writing, a sketch of "Sparky Valentine," and a little editing on "V.D." Yes, a little less than the other days, but I had a shorter time frame to work in.
-VD2: Still, that's very good.-
Tanku. :) I'll try to get some more done tomorrow -- including some redoing on the sketchwork in "Sparky Valentine." Not quite sure how to draw Clara. *ponder*
