Watch Repair Shop

-D: So the watch is finally fixed?-
Both are, actually -- I got two batteries, so I had Dad put them in the new one and the one I was wearing before. So now I have two BTTF watches. :)
-VD: What happened to the silver one?-
That's been dead for months.
-VD2: o.O You let a watch go dead?!-
-TD: I would never think of letting a watch run down like that!-
You would think of throwing one against the wall.
-TD: That was a different situation and you know it.-
Currently having two strap-on watches feels a little weird, but I'm sure I'll get used to it in time.

revison_doc update -- played the Shaws. Harriet and the twins are now friends, Keith is best friends with Linda and Jennifer, and Harriet made friends with Julia.
-D: That's nice.-
Yeah, it is. And despite my fears, the family played pretty darn well.
-OD: Why wouldn't it? You've been playing that family for a while now.-
OfB updated all my graphics options, so I was worried about slowdown because of that. But no, it worked just fine. :)
-VD: Good to hear. Are you planning on starting any major story arcs soon?-
One -- Dave's due to move out to college soon, so I'll probably play a double day session with the McFlys and have both Dave and Linda leave. The Gypsy arc will wait until Julia's a teenager and (hopefully) Maxis has patched that community lot bug, so that date I'm planning will probably occur in Junior year. I'm tempted to build a custom local for it.
-D: *grin* That works for me.-
-DW: How goes the fan fic?-
I lost time because of the watches, but I wrote some on "BTTX-2." And I got my page of "Dusky Past" done too.
-VD2: I'll take that.-
-OD: How about some fan art?-
Weekend starts tomorrow, I'll see about that Puppet Pals idea.
-DW: What is this new obsession with Puppet Pals?-
So far they'll be the closest thing to a Doc plushie.
-TD: . . . I don't even want to know.-
