Well Then. . . .
Jul. 19th, 2006 08:19 pmThings that have happened as of last night:
-->Get off the earliest I've got off in a while now, leaving me with not much to do. I did some more TeenDoc tweaking for hoverboards and watching the lightning outside.
-->Decided to go downstairs to do the bathroom thing -- only to discover as I'm sitting on the john this HUGE, bulky spider on the side of the sink. This thing was BIG, kinda like one of those fake rubber spiders you can get to scare people. I have a minor freak-out and "hide" in the bathtub until I get up the courage to step over the toilet and make it to the door. As I am not getting anywhere NEAR that thing (and thank GOD it didn't move, or I'd still be down there), I go to bed having not brushed my teeth or gone to the bathroom. (Luckily I was able to hold it until this morning, when the spider was gone -- presumably killed by a parent.)
-->Thanks to the thunderstorms, I was forced to shut my windows. Result -- too hot to sleep for a while. *grumble*
-->This also means I was awake for a brief power outage. I reset my clock according to my watch and think that all is well, finally drifting off to sleep. . . .
-->Only to be awoken by my parents, telling me that it's quarter past 8. I panic and rush through my morning routine. But something's nagging at me. I check my watches -- they say 7:40 when I finally get dressed and all that. Suspicious, I check on the TV.
7:40. My parents couldn't even bother to verify this. At least I got all my writing on "Boy Genius" done -- and was able to hop on here for a short while and finish the latest drabbles88 prompt. (I'll post that later tonight.)
-->And of course, I have an annoyingly hot workday. I thought it was supposed to be COOLER today!
-VD: . . . Life sucks and then you die?-
Yeah, basically. Don't worry, I'm looking over your stuff right now -- made some of the smaller edits and wondering how to incoporate some of the bigger ones.
-M2: *hugs* Thanks.-
-VD: *hugs* We appreciate it. A lot.-
I know. Thanks for sticking with me throughout all the procrastination and shit.
-VD2: How about anything else?-
Finishing up the end of "Misery Journey." Also might start my "Mad Scientist Legacy" challenge, based on the "Royal Kingdom Legacy" challenge I linked to yesterday.
( Speaking of Sims )
-D: Odd to see you update with this on a Wednesday.-
I know -- I've got a
revison_doc update in the pipeline. I also have something I want to show you boys.
-D: Oh?-
Scroll Down To The Bottom
-Docs: *see Clock Shirt* O.O-
-TD: Want.-
You got it. :D

It's a little odd to see Twin Oaks Park's Emmett Von Braun in modern clothing, but I had to get him that shirt to wear, if only for a little while.
-M: *grin* Oh yeah, that is just CLASSIC Doc.-
I know! He'll wander about like that for a play session or two, then after the next time I play him, I'll switch him back to Victorian wear. Every so often, I'll have him break out the modern duds again.
-TD: Why DO you like him in the Victorian wear? I can see if it was a Victorian-themed neighborhood. . . .
-DW: Well, it is in a way -- if they wear Victoriana, they're generally pretty important to the main plot. You'll notice Gypsy's donned a Victorian gown.-
Yeah, I can't wait to get her in that formal I picked out for her. And most of Emmett's closest friends will have a Victorian outfit they'll wear every so often. I think I'll organize parties in which you have to come in a certain outfit. Julia would be good for that.
-VD2: Sort of like your Halloween costume party?-
Exactly! *makes plans*
Okay, off to write some more and update <lj user="revison_doc" with the latest.
