Most Unproductive Weekend Ever
Mar. 4th, 2007 11:46 pmAt least I got to updating my Sims journals again. Both
revison_doc and
eurekasims have two updates apiece, one to announce the installation of the Seasons expansion pack, the next to get the family rotations going again.
-RPD: You seemed to be having fun while you were playing. The crap from yesterday worth it?-
Yeah, I suppose so. My graphics are nice and clear, my Sims can play in the snow, it's generally a good scene. And fall looks like fun -- skill skill skill!
-HD: *curious* How ARE you arranging the weather patterns? Logically or illogically? I'd go with the latter, FAR more entertaining.-
LOL. Well, it's FAIRLY logical:
Eureka: Eureka, Mad Hill Valley, and Narbonics will all be Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer. Trans Poly U, however, is on a Fall/Spring/Fall/Spring schedule, to match up with how the semesters WOULD go.
Strangetown: Strangetown and La Fiesta tech are Summer/Fall/Spring/Summer, being desert. Downtown and Bluewater Village will be Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring.
Twin Oaks Park: Everything here will be Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall.
Hill Valley: Everything here will be Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring.
-M: So you're basically doing all four seasons for each neighborhood?-
In one way or another, yes. I'm looking forward to doing Eureka, though -- a Fall/Spring combo seems perfect for college. Fall helps with skills and badges, Spring with romance, so Emma and Emmett will have plenty of time to pump themselves up.
-VD: No gardening yet?-
I'm still reading my Prima Guide about that. But I intend for Emma and Emmett to at least do some stuff with Orchard trees.
-VD2: Allow us to reiterate that you're not having our Simself drink eggplant juice!-
*holds up finger* I anticipated your complaint. *grabs Prima Guide* Ahem:
"Juice: Eggplant Juice. Ingredients: 1 Eggplant. Hunger Satisfaction: 3-9 points. Special Effect: RANDOM SKILL POINTS."
-VD2: . . . Did we say NOT drink?-
*snrrrk* Other juices you may be interested in are the Vegetable Cocktail -- 2 Tomatoes, 1 Cucumber, 1 Pepper, and 3 Pole Beans -- which helps build skills faster, and Orangeade -- 3 Oranges, 1 Lemon -- which provides Ranom Badge points.
-TD: *sings* Green Acres is the place to be/Farm livin' is the life for me!-
LOL -- well, unfortunately, it'll be a while before you can get any of those -- you can only plant Tomatoes at low badge level, and Orangeade only works with one badge in a talent.
-TD: We'll wait, for a payoff like that!-
:D I figured you would.
Okay, I really should try and get my brain back into writing mode. Let's edit "Marty In Wonderland" so I can get chapter 4 up sometime soon.
-DW: And hopefully the
backtothefanfic challenge fic will come up soon.-
Give
foxywriter time to get back home. . . .
