In Other News -- THE DEAD WALK THE EARTH!!
Mar. 5th, 2007 11:44 pmI wouldn't be surprised if they DID, at any rate, after the weather we had today. Moose gets the lightning storm of the century, we get a windy snow flurry -- with SUN. Swear on the DeLorean, the sun was shining while it snowed to beat the band (mostly because of the wind whipping it around).
-HD: I liked it!-
Of course you would. And I can't deny it was cool. Just freaky.
-TD: *pouts* I wish we'd gotten lightning. I love lightning.-
I figured you did. Moose promised to have the Georges contact you if anything new happened with that.
-TD: I know, but it would be useful to not have to go to another hemisphere to witness lightning.-
Think of it this way, it's SUMMER there.
-TD: . . . When can we leave?-
Wusses, all of them.
-D: We're getting used to it. Have we complained as much as we did at first?-
I can't say you have. Maybe there's hope for you lot after all.
-VD: As long as we have to poke you, we can bear the changing seasons.-
-RPD: And speaking of Seasons -- get your update in?-
Yup!
eurekasims's Emmett just planted a couple of tomato plants. He's also met yet ANOTHER two-bolter girl, Katherine. I think the evidence for this verison of Emmett being a manslut is in.
-HD: At least this isn't with Lorraine or Jennifer. . . .-
Heh, yeah, true. I also decided to get in some love over at the Greenman household in Riverblossom Hills, just to get a look at a PlantSim:

The happy family, Jason, Rose, and baby Daisy. Baby Daisy is my worst nightmare -- a toddler with NO ENERGY NEED. *terror*

Bathing Daisy -- PlantSims require Sunlight, Water, and Love, and a bath is a good way to water and love the toddlers.

Rose brings Daisy outside to get her sunlight, then goes for a dip in the pool to water herself. She actually got water in her ears!

While reading a romance novel, Rose recalls spawning Daisy. Don'tcha love the "spawned baby" memory icon?
-HD: I like her skintone. She looks very planty.-
I know. Poor Plant!Marty is going to stick out like a sore thumb. Ah well, didn't know this was coming with Seasons. . . .
Oooh, and look what I got. When I got my copy of Seasons at Best Buy, it came with a sticker on it that let me get the exclusive swing download -- the only thing I was really interested in:

Pretty neat, huh? A nice alternative to the plastic ones.
-DW: Very nice.-
-VD2: How about writing, make any progress with that? We'll understand if you didn't, new expansion pack and all. . . .-
Well, with journal writing, I got two pages on "Boy Genius" and two and a half on "From the Ashes Reborn." I'm almost done with "Boy Genius" 2.0 too, so hopefully that'll kick-start me into typing again.
-TD: I hope so, I'm eager to see where my story goes. Especially now that Agatha's approaching Mechanicsburg.-
*patpat* I won't let you languish. I've also been fiddling around with the BTTF/Addams Family drabbles88 and the fourth chapter of "Marty In Wonderland" -- what say I shoot for having those up by the end of the week?
-VD2: Sounds good to me.-
-HD: Glad to see you haven't forgotten Wonderland.-
*grin* Never. Forget you declared my secondary fandom "Anything that has to do with Victorian England?"
-DW: Just all the "Corpse Bride" bunnies. . . .-
*blush* I know, I know. They should get better once I get the DVD and can get a proper fix.
-OD: Why don't you try drawing them?-
Oh God, you know how hard it would be to draw Victor? Especially given those lips of his. Better artists than me have made him look girly. I'll pick something from my list to draw this month -- I've been neglecting it for far too long.
Anyway, gotta write. See ya later.
