Not Much To Say
Aug. 28th, 2007 11:02 pmGotta finish up Victor's half-page for "Corpse Mask," and see if I can come up with an ending to the "Summer" drabble.
-VD2: A little stuck?-
It happens, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll unstick by Friday -- last day of the month, ya know.
-DW: Well, you've made it every other time -- even if it is at the last second.-
Yeah -- keep your fingers crossed.
-HD: What about "Marty In Wonderland?"-
Well, Tracey didn't find much wrong with Chapter 8, so it's basically just me tweaking. . . .
-HD: *perks up*-
Yeah, I'm starting to get sick of it just lying there.
-VD: Hopefully the same applies with my story.-
-OD: Ours too!-
I was poking at "The Gift and the Curse" today. . . .
-TTV: *pokes me* I believe my journal work takes precedence, though.-
Yeah, true. First though, I said I'd get some pictures of the lot I've decided Eureka!Emmett is going to live after college, and here they are.
Before, 100 Old Mountain Road:

Not a bad little lot by any means -- the house is basically a big box, but I'm used to that. Not too crazy about the wallpapers, though, and I generally prefer flatter lots. . . .
After, 121 Lloyd Road:

As you can see, I ditched the weeping willow, got rid of the fence around the pool, flattened the lot out a bit, changed the wallpapers and the back door, moved the phone, changed the toilet and removed the shower, added a fire alarm, and added a couple more lights. I'm going to have Emmett buy a few more essentials with his college money before he moves in.
-OD: *frown* Little small, isn't it? Isn't this version of us destined for at least three kids?-
The lot has some room for expansion -- it'll do while he's living alone/with Marty and Captain Nemo the robot.
-D: *snort* I like that!-
I thought you would. ;) I also decided to drop in on the Smiths and get a head start on playing the villagers again. Melody's had the baby! It's a boy, which I named Robert after the Bobs.

Baby looks a lot like Mommy, with brown hair and blue eyes.
-RPD: Great! The next generation is finally on its way.-
Yeah, I know. I need to try and get Barty engaged to Sandy the next time I play him. At least the Carters came with kidlings.
-DW: Your Sims have more excitement in their lives than you do.-
I prefer it that way. Excitement's easier to handle when you're the cause.
-TD: *grin* I can vouch for that.-
-VDM: All too well.-
Hey, that reminds me -- the next page of the Girl Genius Vacation Story is ALREADY UP. And has been since 9. O.o I'm certainly not complaining, but it is a little puzzling.
-TD: *attempts to look innocent*-
. . . Did you timewarp their computer?
-TD: I -- may have helped things along. It IS your vacation, after all.-
*chuckles* All right, I'll look at "Boy Genius" again tomorrow. Hopefully inspiration will hit as to how I can clean up that Gil bit.
-TD: *grin*-
Right now, though, I have to visit Victor's world for a bit and finish up Stephen's introduction.
