-M: And is nearly run over by another train.-
Ah ah ah, save it for October 27th.
-RPD: Everything all backed up?-
Yup, and I finally recopied my Sims 2 folder onto my desktop (the old one was way out of date). Now I just need to collect hacks, and I'll be good to go when we go tomorrow on our little voyage.
-D: Which bus are you taking up to the mall?-
Noon bus. We'll spend two hours there, then come back around three. I plan to take my copy of "The Princess Bride" with me for reading material on the ride up and possibly the ride back. Depends on if I get the Bon Voyage strategy guide.
-HD: Sounds like quite the adventure.-
*shrug* I'll be happy if I get my new EP.
Not much else to report -- work's putting me back on afternoon schedule. My parents don't seem to get the fact that I REFUSE to let my computer time be curtailed, meaning that this means I get at most an extra hour of sleep/night computer time. Plus I get to pack a lunch, pack a snack, AND stuff in my notebooks to write during slow periods.
-OD: . . . You're not happy whatever they do with you, are you?-
Not true, I was fricking ecstatic when I got three-day weekends. And my original afternoon schedule worked fine. I guess I don't like working the seven-hour shift. (Yeah, yeah, welcome to the real world and all that.)
-M2: The money's nice, though.-
Yeah, I suppose. *sigh*
-D: You don't HAVE to keep working there. It's obvious you don't particularly enjoy it.-
I know. It just seems easier to complain. :p
