Because It Does Weird Things to My Journal )

Though, really, a Time-Lord home should contain a TARDIS and a DeLorean. Hell, maybe even Bill and Ted's phonebooth and Quantum Leap's -- thingy -- for good measure. (I don't watch Quantum Leap!)

I've had two dreams lately that involve me and the family going to a theme park:

First up was some sort of weird Disneyland/Universal crossover -- I remember thinking we were at Disney, but I got to go on a final BTTF ride in the dream. The place looked nothing like it did in the park -- more like an out-of-the-way office building with a sign on it saying "Back To The Future." After that we went on this weird roller-coaster ride, except that instead of a car, we were all just seated on this foam pad thingy. And during the ride, the foam pad actually WENT OFF THE TRACK, flew through the air, and turned over and dumped us on the ground. I landed without injury on my stomach, but the park was sending in people to make sure we were all right when I woke up.

I don't remember much about the second -- I think we were going to Universal, and I was all excited. Then I remembered that the BTTF ride was gone, and I started to cry.

And that first dream just reminded me of ANOTHER theme-park dream I had a while ago, where I went on BTTF again -- only it was a WATER ride, like Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. It was this big thing of rivers and waterfalls near Jurassic Park. You rode in a little DeLorean boat and went over some falls and stuff. And the entrance to the main park looked like the Jurassic Park Island entrance, and to get out of the park, you had to go through some sort of weird mini-mall with themed stores. I remember racing through them and going into one for dinosaur stuff.

. . . . My brain is GODDAMNED WEIRD.

-->[livejournal.com profile] revison_doc update. Super short thing on Gypsy's parents. Their greenhouse is going quite well, though I'm still faintly baffled at the lack of weeding.
-->Marty In Wonderland is up at Back To The Vampire.
-->So are updated versions of The Freak House Challenge and The Mad Scientist Legacy.
-->Chapter 2 of "The Gift and The Curse" is up at FF.net. (For some reason, it had gotten into my head that it was going up at the website -- "Gift and Curse" doesn't even have a trivia page yet!)
-->I suppose updating this thing for the third time counts too.
-HD: *offers tea* Wonderful news. Though I'm a little disappointed you didn't keep the chapter titles with "Marty In Wonderland."-
Sorry HatterDoc -- they would have looked a bit weird, though.
-OD: *tentacles chatter* We have no objections if you want to start putting "Gift and Curse" up early on BTTV.-
LOL, I'd like to finish the Trivia first.
-VD: So, back to "V.D." edits, I assume?-
Along with "Boy Genius" edits. Also pounding "What Lies Within" into submission. *glares at said story*
-VD2: If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.-
Heh, I know. I should finish the "Shot Through The Heart" DVD cut first, it might give me inspiration.
-DW: Frankly, I think you might be better off if you started on editing the "moving back" Trilogy arc.-
You mean bulking up "Homecoming" and such? Probably, yeah. I should at least do soemthing with the stupid purple notebook. It mocks me, I swear.
-HD: *thwaps it with his hat*-
*snort* Thanks.
-D: How about writing?-
"Cinder-Marty" is definitely next, it's on my mind. However, my next typing from a notebook project will probably be "Past Amnesia."
-M: Oh, good, we need updates.-
I know. Funny how my largest universe is also the slowest one I've updated.
-TD: Makes sense to me -- there's more to write and rewrite. Universes like mine are compartively smaller. Even VampDoc's VDCs, the series you're mainly known for, is pretty self-contained.-
-VDM: Yeah, didn't you say that NonTrilogy is the only series that makes it into the 1990s so far?-
That's true, yes. *guilt attack* Now I feel like I'm gypping everyone else.
-RPD: *deadpan, as ghost* We'll live.-
O.o
-RPD: You know what I mean!-
-VD: Besides, we have larger name recognition at the moment.-
True, true. Though that may end as I proceed with NonTrilogy.
-M: . . . You're making me nervous.-
*evil smile*
-TTV: Can we watch more MST3King? I'd missed that.-
Sure, come on.
-TD: I think Victor's a bit of a YouTube addict.-
-TTV: I am not.-
-RPD: Just like you're not a "Mask" fanboy?-
-TTV: *grumbles, twists tie*-
