Not Much To Say
Jan. 3rd, 2008 10:45 pmForgot to mention I played more Alice yesterday (net was on the blink for a bit). FINALLY got past those darn books! I'm now up to the Vale of Tears mini-world, yay. Still loving the croquet mallet. ;)
Work today was pretty slow, probably because of the frigid weather. Max temp today? 15 degrees F. That's right, it didn't get out of the TEENS. It was nippy inside the store too -- luckily there's a little mini-heater that's really good, so I hung around that. Also managed to get another page on "Cinder-Marty" and two on "Corpse Mask." I really ought to watch "The Mask" again soon, I'm getting into the climaxy stuff here --
-TTV: *nodnods*-
Yes, and you're probably going crazy since I haven't watched it in a while.
-TTV: It's a good movie.-
You ever want to see any other Jim Carrey stuff? He's good in the movie of "A Series of Unfortunate Events," and I liked him in "Liar Liar" and "The Truman Show."
-TTV: I'd be quite interested.-
Cool, I'll see what I can do. :)
-VD: *evil eye*-
I know! For some reason, my brain's not working with me today. I keep feeling distracted.
-DW: This is what you get for overdosing on "El Goonish Shive."-
To be fair, it's better than reading up on "Clock Tower" or "Silent Hill," right?
-DW: . . . Got me there. Thanks for resisting the urge to watch those videos.-
No prob. :) I might try the Psychonauts playlist instead, I've heard that's a pretty cool game.
-D: *ahem* *points to readers*-
Oh, right -- found a gal on YouTube with playthroughs of multiple games, including two of the "Clock Towers," "Silent Hill 4," and the one that caught my eye, "American McGee's Alice." I just used one to get myself unlost at the beginning of my next playsession (wasn't sure where to go).
-HD: *puppy eyes* Please don't watch the scary games.-
I probably won't -- reading is a lot different than watching. But Psychonauts would probably be fun.
Have to save it for later, though -- morning shift tomorrow. Night all, don't freeze in your beds.
