-TD: *cheekily* More Gil fangirling?-
Hey, how can you NOT fangirl Gil?
He just beat the crap out of a JAEGER! AND had an epiphany while doing it! Gil is pure awesome!
-TD: I certainly wasn't denying it. I'll fanboy him just for his lightning generator.-
That's the spirit. But, actually, I'm talking about different awesome. There are two instances of awesome:
1. I'm playing some Sims for fun -- catching Emmett up to Emma in Eureka. He has a nice day at work, then when he comes home I prep him to do some yardwork -- stupid wolf dug a hole in the yard. Before having him fill it in, though, I decide to dig for treasure. He's a little low on cash (though his new job should help) and I figured, even if he gets that rock all my other sims are getting, it's worth a little money.
But does Emmett get the rock? Nope.
HE GETS A SECRET VACATION LOT MAP!!
Serious! He now knows how to get to the Pagoda in the Shadows in Taz-Ta -- in the Asian village! :D Well, now I know where to send him for his first vacation.
-RPD: *applause* That's great.-
Yeah. He's also got his gold robotics badge too, so once he has sufficient funds, I can build Captain Nemo the Servo. :D
-RPD: Wonderful! Now all you have to do is adopt Marty.-
-TD: And find him a girlfriend.-
Unfortunately, that's where I fail -- a girl friend of his called him up and spontaneously asked him out on a date. I was so startled, I delayed for too long and he automatically hung up. Annoyed, I reloaded -- unfortunately, the caller that time was Professor Jill, the Stalker. (Luckily, she did NOT ask him out). Damn.
-VD: I thought you were holding out for three-bolt love?-
Well, I tend to feel fondly toward townies who automatically go for playables -- like Emma and Holden, or Keith and his girlfriend. And it was one
I liked too! Hmph.
-VD2: There's always another time.-
Yeah, I know. Seriously, though I want him to find love. I mean, he just proved he's awesome.
2. My two favorite angry video game reviewers updated today -- the Angry Video Game Nerd on
a WIZARD OF OZ game, and Yahtzee on
Devil May Cry 4. AVGN's review was standard funny, but Yahtzee's made awesome for just one line near the end:
"No series on any form of media has ever still been good after having been shaken down for sequels,
with the possible exception of the Back To The Future movies."
Is it wrong for me to experience supreme fangirlish glee at that?
-D: You are aware he said "possible."-
Yeah, but I certainly wasn't expecting him to say BTTF at all! *squees*
-HD: *eyes me cautiously*-
Anyway, yeah, awesome. But right now, I have to do a bit more writing, since I have to go to bed early -- morning shift. My coworker's kid is sick, you see. Bleh. *goes to procure more awesome to keep spirits up*
