I Has a Pen

My new BTTf pen arrived today. It is cool indeed. :) The little pull-back DeLorean topper goes very very fast and has a tendency to swerve and wreck out on rugs. :p
-D: Always nice to collect some more memorabila. Though where are you going to put it?-
Not sure -- I kept the packaging, just in case. Now I just have to concentrate on that watch. Keep your fingers crossed, everyone.
-TD: *does so*-
-VD2: How's fanfic?-
Eh, all right. I got four and a half pages done on both "Cinder-Marty" and "There's Always Tomorrow" this week. Almost done with the former -- just gotta wrap up some plot threads and write the epilogue.
-VM: That turned into a pretty involved story, didn't it?-
Yeah, but I enjoyed writing it. Futurified Classics are fun.
-OD: I hope you're also enjoying "There's Always Tomorrow."-
Yeah, I have some ideas of what you could get up to. Marty and Jennifer technically turn 18 during the time period, ya know. Missing time and all that.
-VuM: O.o? Really? Freaky.-
I know! *glad her birthday doesn't change* As for typing, I've been making progress on "When Worlds Collide," but I'm trying to get myself to work on "Boy Genius" now. I mean, Gil's pure awesome ought to be providing inspiration. Especially since we meet him this chapter.
-TD: *poke poke poke*-
I know, I know. I've also got a drabbles88 bunny biting at me about Part III -- I seem to be in a Western mood.
-HD: It's all about the clothes, isn't it?-
I have a certain fondness for the styles of that time period, yes. Though I still fear corsets.
-RPD: How's gameplay going? Any Sims today?-
Nope, Alice. Got up to the Majestic Maze. Which means I'm within sight of the end. It's -- a little depressing, honestly. *likes the game*
-WRM: That's not what it sounds like during the boss fights.-
LOL. Well, I tend to be made of fail while fighting bosses. The only one I managed to beat on the first go was the Red King of the Chesslands. Yay for easy bosses.
As for Sims, tomorrow I guess I bite the bullet and try a rollback for Twin Oaks Park. Gotta take note of which events I have to recreate, though. *grumblemutter*
-RPD: *patpat* I am sorry about all that.-
Not your fault. Then, once that's all working correctly, I'll install FreeTime and see if it offers any awesomeness. *wonders what predestined hobbies her Sims will get*
-DW: *sniffs bunnies* Great Scott, you're still hanging onto this Asylum Challenge idea?-
Yeah. Though I'm sure it would drive me crazy, I think it would be interesting. Have to ask around for certain bits, though.
-HD: *raises eyebrow* Do they make clockwork bits for Sims?-
Probably not, but maybe I can find a more appropriate hat. And I'm CERTAIN there was a Victor Van Dort sim around here somewhere. . .
-TTV: Why do I have to suffer? I'm the sane one!-
. . . Says the puppet.
-TTV: That's not my fault.-
-VD: What about the fanboyism over Jim Carrey?-
-TTV: A person can't have a favorite actor?-
-M2: You chased Barkis all over the room after he insulted Jim.-
-TTV: . . . I'm better now.-
Suuuure you are.
-TTV: -.--
Anyway, not much else to say. Work was boring and slow, but I fear tomorrow. I get the feeling it'll be crammed with shit. (And what is it with customers and coming in during the last minute of my shift? I've had to practically run from the store these last few times.) At least it's the weekend. Maybe I'll watch some real BTTF. Been a while, you know.
-OD: We'll accept it as research, especially if you watch Part III.-
*laugh* Tanku. Night all.
