Happy Birthday, Two Georges and a Fred
Apr. 1st, 2008 10:05 pmI'm of course speaking of Fred and George Weasley and George McFly. And a happy belated birthday to Marty's brother Dave -- sorry about missing out on you yesterday.
-MHG: It's not an unbirthday, but it'll do.-
Any excuse for cake, right?
-D: Find any good pranks?-
Google was sponsoring a future colony on mars AND a "custom time" feature on G-Mail that had a lot of suspicious references to "flux capacitors" and the like. ;) Mugglenet reported a Harry/Hermione hookup, and the Leaky Cauldron employed everyone's favorite drunken psychic. LJ gave me my first rickrolling (and according to Ael just now, someone did it on
fanficrants too). XKCD, Questionable Content, and Dinosaur Comics are trapped in a loop of sorts. And there's a silly fake letter on cf_abby_tribute.
-HD: I take it you didn't fall victim to any.-
Well, that depends.
-HD: o.O?-
Does getting your period on April Fool's Day count?
-J: Okay, now the universe is laughing at you.-
Yeah, I should have suspected, really. Moose said hers came on recently, and I've been crankier and more tired. . . . Ah well, nothing we can do about it.
-OD: I hope your creative juices weren't too retarded.-
Luckily no -- made some edits on "The Gift and the Curse," wrote two pages on "There's Always Tomorrow" and one on "Forward to the Past." Granted, this was before the brain-melt really set in. . . .
-TD: Hey, better than nothing. I saw you had "Boy Genius" open too.-
*shrug* Messing around with it a bit. Kill two birds with one stone?
-VD: I have edits waiting too.-
Maybe I'll look at you tomorrow then.
Not much else to say -- work was busy, and not too sucky. I'm still doing online jigsaws. Life continues apace.
Well, THIS did show up on BTTF.com. Unfortunately, I'm suspicious because I can't find one mention of the screening on the Celebration Exotic Car Festival website. Maybe it's just because of the date. Because if it's real -- WANT. BADLY.
