Tempted to Go Zzzzzz
Apr. 2nd, 2008 11:07 pmDamn period.
-J: Amen, sister.-
-D: I wonder why you get so tired.-
I dunno. Body messing with me is the best I can come up with. Means a slow day on the fiction front, though. Did a few edits to "The Gift and the Curse" and that's about it, typing-wise.
-OD: At least it's something.-
-VD2: What about writing?-
Two and a half pages on "Forward to the Past," bringing that up to five. Unfortunately, we got hit by the busy bug (THANK you, lady who just HAD to bring in five tons worth of stuff) so I couldn't get anything done on "There's Always Tomorrow." I'll balance it out tomorrow.
-D: Feel strange at all to be writing about a snowstorm as the weather gets warmer?-
Not really, considering Mother Nature didn't get the memo about it being spring now. Supposed to get down to 25 tonight.
-HD: But -- but I've already started converting the teapots to ICED tea!-
I know! Blame it on the weather, not me.
Not much else to report at the moment. Though I did get this weirdass comment on one of my YouTube videos. This one shows my Sim Emma Heterobach, founder of my Mad Scientist Legacy, getting engaged to her beau Holden. Today someone commented with:
Woman can only ask a man to marry them on the 28th of febuary if not something happen i dont know. that man should ask her to marry him f a woman asks a man to marry them that is so not right
-Muses: . . .-
-M: Is someone deliberately TRYING to be stupid?-
Maybe, I don't know! All I could think was, "WTF? Why do you care? They're SIMS!"
-VD: Not to mention they've got the date wrong -- it's the 29th of February that is traditionally set aside for women to propose to men.-
Yeah, something to do with St Patrick and a lady friend, I think. Of course, I couldn't have done it the traditional way if I wanted to -- Holden's a townie. And at the time of the engagement, Emma was still in college. Though I'll probably end up moving him in before the wedding. Just gotta make sure she initiates things so we get the right last name. The Heterobach name must live on!
-RPD: If FreeTime ever installs, that is.-
There's another Best Buy trip in the offing. We're all out of ideas. *getting heartily sick of this*
-DW: Well, it has to work SOMETIME. Just remember that.-
I'm trying, I'm trying.
-TD: Clockwork. It's the only way to go.-
Heh. Sometimes, I think you're right.
Anyway, time to wander the web with no apparent plan or purpose.
