Feeling Schizophrenic
Apr. 3rd, 2008 11:06 pmGood: Got my pages on "There's Always Tomorrow." Equality reigns supreme.
Bad: I'm -- not entirely sure where to go from here. I did outhouse horror, now what? *must reread the Night and Day universe equivalent*
Good: I finished "The Light Fantastic." It was AMAZING. Rincewind KICKS ASS. And warps the universe. And a bunch of other great stuff. Now I just have to raid a bookstore for the next books in the series. ("Equal Rites," here I come!)
Bad: I'm working afternoon shift tomorrow. Though I suppose I could write, this DOES make me a little shifty on entertainment options.
Good: I actually wrote a bit on "When Worlds Collide. . . ."
Bad: . . . despite waking up with a sore throat. I'm already on my period, I DON'T NEED A COLD!
Good: There is a fantastic BTTF event on MY coast for a change, that I can actually afford to go to.
Bad: The people selling the tickets are having gremlins with their website and have yet to put up the tickets for sale. Since there's limited seating, this makes me twitch.
Good: It was reasonably slow at work today.
Bad: Except for this one guy who came it RIGHT AT CLOSING for his pants.
Good: Luckily, my boss was there to deal with it, so I still got to leave on time.
Bad: Dad took the ride home to lecture me on "not getting so stressed out." How the fuck do I tell him, "I was GOING to forget all about it, until YOU MADE IT WORSE."
Good: I'm really looking forward to the new minimates.
Bad: But they've been bumped from April to May.
Good: I'm taking the computer in to Best Buy so I can finally play FreeTime.
Bad: The fact that it's gotten this far, plus this means sacrificing part of a Saturday.
Not-So-Bad: Of course, there's a Barnes and Noble near the Best Buy, so I could pick up some Pratchett there.
Good: I'm in a very BTTF mood. Yay main fandom!
Bad: . . . I have no idea what fanfictions I want to read, or any of that. *headdesk*
I should probably go take some cold medicine and turn in early. . . .
