Last I Checked, The Date Wasn't The 13th
Dec. 4th, 2009 10:44 pmBeen kind of a shitty Friday (annoying day at work, spiders crawling around, that sort of thing). At least now I have a weekend to recuperate. I'm also taking another mall trip.
-VD: *surprised* Already?-
Yeah -- hitching a ride with Mom. She's doing some Christmas shopping, I'm going to see the latest version of "A Christmas Carol." The animated one by Robert Zemeckis, starring Jim Carrey. :)
-D: Need an infusion of "the holiday spirit," I take it?-
Can't hurt. Besides, it'll make the Victors happy.
-TTV: *grin*-
Just be warned, I've read on TV Tropes it's somewhat darker than it looks in the trailer.
-TTV: Well, it is "A Christmas Carol." A little darkness is to be expected.-
*shrug* Anyway, it's dropped out of the regular theater to make way for new releases, so it looks like I'm seeing the IMAX version.
-VuM: IMAX? Wasn't the BTTF ride in IMAX?-
Something like it, anyway. Holy crap, I haven't been to an IMAX in forever. . . . The best one's in the Boston Museum of Science, but I think the one in Providence Place is pretty good too.
-TD: It'll certainly be an adventure, at any rate.-
Exactly. :)
Don't have much else to say, really. Guess I should figure out who the hell's doing the lights for the muse house this year.
-MF: Maybe it would be easier if we just tangled them up or blew a few bulbs on purpose. Get the disaster over with first.-
-DW: Disaster's not guaranteed!-
-M: What's it been for the past three years running?-
-VD2: All we need is a definite plan! And for no one to get any ideas on how to improve things.-
With YOU lot?
-VD2: It could happen!-
