Timelines and Postings
Feb. 22nd, 2011 10:54 pmFirst, this actually went up yesterday, but I forgot with the Secundus Family Tree of Doom thing: Marty moves into the pocket verse. One thing down, at least.

LOL, thank you. Now, speaking of the Secundus Family Tree of Doom, I've been working on a rough timeline using fake years.
-DW: Pardon??-
Basically, I stuck "Secundus 2: Weird Weird West" into Overly Plotted Bunnies, then decided it was about time I figured out when all these kids were born. I decided "Secundus 2" would take place over the same week of September that BTTF III takes place over. Therefore, I borrowed 1885 as the year for that, and made my calculations accordingly. I'm not saying "Secundus" definitely takes place in 1883 now (since "Secundus 2" happens two years after "Secundus"), but it's useful for getting basic kidlet info.
-VDM: Well, spill. We know you're dying to.-
Basically, the year of "Secundus" is a good year for weddings -- Victoria & Sir Christopher, Alice & Victor, and Emily & Richard all get married, in that order. (Originally Victor & Alice got married first, but then I realized the Everglots would want Sir Christopher's money as fast as possible.) Victor & Alice are the first to have kids with Chester, then the year after his birth has Jules Brown and Jonathan Lloyd born and Charlotte Dodgson adopted. Two years later is another little baby boom, with both sets of twins and Verne born. Bringing up the rear is Mabel Lloyd and Isaac Brown in the following years.
-WRM: And then all the neat family interconnectedness happens!-
Right! Lorina marries Douglas, Marlene marries Jules. As I stated yesterday, I'm considering having Vincent marry Mabel. Also might have Jonathan marry Charlotte, but that's not certain.
-J2: *amused* Some of these kids do marry outside our social circle, right?-
LOL, yes. As in the "Solicitor's Ward"-verse, Chester marries Allison Laidlaw. Verne and Isaac will also be marrying strangers. New blood will be brought in. I just like the "we're all in-laws now" thing.
Anyway, I should probably stop babbling about their kids before I get the urge to plot out a next-generation story with them. Must focus on finishing "Secundus" itself first!
-VD2: You could channel some of this into prompt fic. At least some of it could fit into the Drabbles88.-
Funny, I actually have a rough draft for one of those written. And it involves Doc's kids, though it's the Trilogy version. Addresses an interesting fact about Jules's birthday.
