crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Spent a good portion of my creative energies today reorganizing my Secundus Notes document. Putting character sheets and mini-bios into their proper categories and suchlike. Hooray for organization.
-D: *jokingly* Sometimes I think you like making the lists more than writing the stories.-
-VD2: Maybe, maybe not. I'm not saying she doesn't like making the lists, it's just "Secundus" is really the story she's done the most of this sort of thing for.-
*shrug* What can I say, I like steampunk worldbuilding.
-VM: Hey, speaking of worldbuilding, you find anything else from that Alice storybook?-
Not really -- for some insane reason, screenshots and the like seem to be in short supply. WTF -- somebody play it and do a walkthrough!
-VuM: Walkthrough? Isn't it something you read?-
It's interactive -- you have a little task to fulfill for each "page," I think. I did find out something from one screenshot, showing something called "The Illustrated London News" -- Alice's father in this reality was apparently named Arthur. Also, she had an older sister, Elizabeth. Dunno what was so bad about keeping him Henry and using one of the real Alice's sisters' names (she had a bunch), but. . . *shrug*
-TD: Hmm. Any mention of her mother?-
Just as "Mrs. Arthur Liddell," so I'm keeping her as Lorina for now. Also, I couldn't make this out, but apparently someone on the forums could -- the date of the fire was around November 10th, 1863.
-RPD: Interesting. I know you won't be changing anything for [livejournal.com profile] save_us_alice, but what about your fanfic?-
Most of it's staying the way I had it before -- I haven't mentioned "Secundus"-Alice's parents by name yet, I don't think, so I might have her father be Arthur -- or I might keep it Henry. We'll see how I feel. Really, the only one this applies to is the one pretty-much-full-canon version I've been contemplating.
-DW: Ah yes, your little crossover experiment where both "Alice" games and Corpse Bride happened in full. Had any ideas for that?-
None you'd want to eat. Maybe I'll pick up a small prompt table and work with that. . . .
Right now, though, I've got some tags, so laterz.
