Zero Puncutation Ahoy

martyfan was nice enough to tell me Yahtzee's latest vid really didn't contain any spoilers, so I went ahead and watched. As usual, he wasn't impressed with the game he was reviewing. XD He pointed out that the original books weren't all sweetness and light themselves, accused the Spicy Horse people of essentially having some sort of "creepy baby doll head" fetish, to the point of stuffing their furniture with them (the tweet that informed me of this video was the Spicy Horse team going "How'd he know that?" XD), and complaining about how empty the world was. Granted, there's a lot of places where it's just you and platforms, but this doesn't bug me particularly much. I guess you gotta be of a certain mindset. *shrug* He did acknowledge the new game fixed some of the problems of the old, but says the HD rerelease of AMA might be the better part of the whole AMA/A:MR package.

Uh, Yahtzee? I've seen parts of the rerelease on YouTube. You basically have a slightly-updated Alice model. And some other new skins for characters, though a forumite who went poking through the files reported that a lot of them were misplaced or misnamed, meaning they wouldn't even show up in the game. So yeah, say what you want, but I'll take the new experience over the "updated" old one.

Not much else to report on today. Mom and I only got a partial walk in as it started raining on us. Pouring outside right now, actually. And it's gonna stay like that for a while, according to the radar. Joy. Then again, after this it's supposed to become less humid, so. . . *shrug* All right, I gotta think up a post for my tumblr.
