Sort of Busy Saturday

Watched Corpse Bride on our new TV -- looked very nice. :) Though I've noticed the movies don't tend to fill the whole screen, even if it's widescreen. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact these movies weren't really made with a TV like this in mind. *shrug* I dunno, I can live with it.

Most of the rest of the day was spent either working on my art project (early afternoon) or threading with Doc in the Nexus (evening). I also took a walk -- happily it DID warm up as promised. And I found two dollars on the bike path, so yay for that.

Worried the teacher wouldn't accept the other one. We were supposed to do a landscape -- my initial thought was to do something that involved a piece of wood shaped like a dragon my mom saw, but then I got to thinking that that was still kind of an object drawing. So instead I'm doing a beach-scape. It's coming along -- I'll be putting few more hours into it tomorrow. And probably some time on Monday after I hit the mall.

Beyond getting a personal pizza at the Subway up there? Not really. I'm mainly looking forward to more Fruit Ninja at Dave & Busters. :D
Anyway, I still got stuff to do, like write a little on something -- also the occasional Doc tag still coming. Later!
