Exhausting Day
Jan. 18th, 2012 11:34 pmMostly because I slept REALLY poorly last night. Woke up around 4:30 suddenly boiling hot for no reason I could think of, then just couldn't get back to sleep. :(
Despite that, I functioned pretty well today. Got my bus up to the mall, browsed Newbury for a bit. I ended up getting two things:

After Newbury was Subway -- I got a dollar off a Chicken Teriyaki -- then into Dave & Buster's. I don't think I've ever seen the place so empty! Though it was nice to be able to play as many games of Fruit Ninja as I wanted. XD I played some of my favorite games, then redeemed the tickets I'd won and went about trying to buy MP3s from a kiosk they have there.
And wasted at least ten minutes trying to figure out how to "pay" for the damn things with my tickets. (Turns out I was leaving my card in the slot too long.) *facepalm* At least I got a good portion of the music I wanted.
After that, I decided to risk getting a Cookie Cookie shake at Ben & Jerry's (om nom), then raced down to the bus stop. Bus was late and I froze my hands off thanks to the cold winds. Ugh. But hey, at least I made the right bus. Took the bus to CCRI, where I picked up my Biology and Math books (Dad says he can can get me my English books). I killed some time on a computer there until the next bus came, and then -- home.
However, I do have something else to show you, don't I? :D Who wants a peek at my Vorpal Blade?

Okay, hope you enjoyed that! I gotta do some stuff on tumblr (there's a "Magic Anon" going around cursing characters to be followed around by their muns/writers for a day XD), and then get some sleep.
