Sims Chatter

Got a new ink_sec_sims update today: Brown Family, Senior 2 I thought it would be a fairly standard update -- and then he got burgled. *headdesk* Why oh why didn't I buy a burglar alarm. . . .

As for Sims, I've been considering the list of businesses I want to have the Liddells of Steampunk Gulch (Emmett Victor and family) create:
One venue
One restaurant
One robot shop (robot badge)
One toy shop (toy badge)
One flower shop (flower badge)
One art gallery (pottery badge)
One clothing shop (sewing badge)
One grocery (fishing & gardening badges)
One pet shop
One spa (makeover badge)
One prepared food shop
One Buy Mode items shop
One home business (can sell anything)
I think that covers just about everything you can do for a shop in the Sims 2. Now, EVL is going to be doing the robot shop. But I'm wondering. . .Felicia's OTH is Nature, but I've been having her do a lot of Arts & Crafts stuff. Maybe she could open the art gallery? Sell her paintings and pottery? Yeah, I'm probably asking for trouble by having BOTH adults work a business, but it would speed things up a bit. And make it so I could move in some of my fandom families all the faster. (My self-imposed rule for this neighborhood is that I can't move in anyone else until a business hits Rank 10.) We'll see.

In other news, a new Emily has joined us over on Tumblr -- the old one suffered major burnout, poor girl. :( As for Forgotten Vows, he and Alice are visiting their pet shop -- and on the Liddell-Van Dorts side, they're chatting with Alice about magic and visiting different worlds. Alice is not so sure she approves of my Lizzie/Bonejangles ship. XD
