Mom's been sick with some sort of nasty chest cold for a while now.
Tonight I've got what feels like the beginnings of a sore throat and some congestion.
Bleh. >.< Might explain why I felt kinda tired so early last night.
Also, watched the Shrek Halloween special, "Scared Shrekless" over dinner (what, Mom was curious). It was okay -- amusing enough, I suppose. The second "special," however, was just Shrek 4-D under a different name. *points at Dreamworks* Cheaters!
Hmm, this does remind me -- Pixar's got Brave out now. To see in theaters or not? That is the question. . .
Oh yeah! The other day, while doing some RP with Butterfly Boy, I finally figured out WHY the future mad scientist is the most well-adjusted of my Victors: friends! [insert "My Little Pony" joke here] But seriously -- Butterfly Boy has a fairly large, well-developed social circle. He's got a number of close friends who encourage him and actively work to build up his self-esteem. No wonder he's the happiest -- he's got the most reason to be happy. By contrast, I bet we can say that part of the reason Forgotten Vows was such a mess is because he barely has any friends at all. Hell, a large part of his story focuses on his feeling alone in the world. Socialization makes all the difference.
Okay, enough epiphanies -- I have a Cracked article on the role of poop in shaping our world to read. No, seriously.
