No Drive-In
Jul. 26th, 2012 11:15 pmThough I'm not surprised, because the weather today has been MENTAL. At times it looked like it was going to pour, and I prepped myself to get ready for a thunderstorm. Then, in mid-afternoon, it cleared up again, and I wondered if maybe. . . But then the weather showed lots and lots of rain and thunderstorms coming out way, so yeah, going out was a no-go. Bleh.
We still had a movie night, though. We got snacks, made popcorn, and watched "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" -- a documentary all about product placement and advertising in media, made by the same guy who did "Super Size Me." Good flick -- he showed off the realities of advertising and product placement while keeping things pretty funny. I can recommend it, especially if you liked his previous stuff.
Can't say much about the rest of the day, though. Having the weather be all "gonna thunderstorm - not gonna thunderstorm - gonna thunderstorm" is not good for your nerves. At least now it's just raining and getting it over with -- though that's supposed to go through tomorrow. Bleh. :( Hopefully I'll be able to focus more then, though.
