Think I Got Plasmids Sorted
Aug. 7th, 2012 11:47 pmI picked 8 for Alice that are supposed to echo various weapons/abilities she has in her games (I'm mixing and matching here between B1, B2, and B2 Multiplayer):
Gene Tonics are harder, since you can equip more of them. Ones I know Alice needs are:
Also, I discovered something funny -- for B1, there's a tonic called "Instant Piano Prodigy," that lets you play a certain song when interacting with pianos in the game. I can't decide whether a Bioshock Victor would have this equipped, or find it an insult because HE put in the practice. :p
Anyway! Now that that's done, maybe I can get back to concentrating on other things. I should probably start writing "Forgetting You" seriously; maybe that'll get me back in the right frame of mind to continue editing "Finding You."
- Telekinesis: The Umbrella's ability to block and return projectiles
- Winter Blast: The Ice Wand
- Aero Dash: The Dodge ability -- Aero Dash gives you a speed boost, which the Dodge also does
- Houdini: The Darkened Looking Glass -- this lets you turn invisible
- Electro Bolt: The Croquet Mallet's tendency to give enemies electric shocks
- Security Command: The Demon Dice -- this lets you set Security Devices on a target, so I figured it was like "summoning help" via the dice
- Sonic Boom: Hysteria -- specifically, the scream that triggers it and knocks back enemies
- Cyclone Trap: The Clockwork Bomb
Gene Tonics are harder, since you can equip more of them. Ones I know Alice needs are:
- Leg Up: Imitates her double jump, and when combined with Aero Dash her Float
- Bloodlust: Imitates the Knightmare DLC Hobby Horse's ability to restore health with hits; I also think the name brings to mind her Hysteria mode
- Sport Boost: Makes her move faster, and Alice did run everywhere in both her games unless you or the game made her walk. I kind of like the B1 version better, since it also gives you faster swinging with your melee weapon
- Eve Saver: Because you can never have too much mana!
