Now how could I top the catch phrase switch? Anyway, a rather quiet and sad day in the canon -- Marty realizes how loopy Doc is for Clara; Doc and Marty encounter the tombstone, and discover it still lurks in their picture with the September 7th date; Doc warns Marty the tombstone could be in his future and lets it slip that Marty doesn't have much of a future thanks to his "chicken" problem; Doc tells Marty he wants to stay with Clara, but Marty talks him out of it; Doc then rejects Marty's suggestion of taking Clara with them to instead tell her goodbye and get himself slapped when she doesn't believe him about him being from the future; Doc goes to drown his sorrows and ends up yammering on about the future to the amusement of all.
Actually, rather a lot more happens than I thought, huh? And I watched the movie today! XD I wanted to sneak it in one day this week, and this seemed as good as any other. Though it was good to see it (especially in Blu-Ray quality, eee), my brain decided that seeing Part III means it's time to plan out "Secundus 2." *pokes it* Let's at least try to finish "The Tale" first this year?
Though, speaking of fanfic updates, have Chapter 10 of "Finding You!" Basically, this chapter is a) all about Victor and Alice's growing friendship, b) foreshadowing a certain nasty chapter/chunk of one that I've already written for "Forgetting You." (That's Broken, if you need a refresher.) I actually got some more written on that today on top of everything else -- the one session of Victor's that we see. I just gotta write Bumby sending Victor out to find Alice, and Victor running into Witless and getting pissed off at her, and that should be a rough draft of Chapter 1 -- or, at least, everything dealing with Chapter 1 in A:MR. We'll see how it gets broken up later.
While I'm on the subject, I could use some help with a title for another story in this verse. It's a story dealing with Alice's family in the Land of the Dead. Well, that and shipping Lizzie with Bonejangles. XD First part is everyone adjusting, second part is Lizzie meeting Bonejangles and falling in love, third part is Bumby arriving Downstairs and getting his from Lizzie. I'm just not sure what to call it. Any thoughts?
