Watched "Pirates! Band of Misfits" Tonight

Thoughts? It was funny -- but I wouldn't say it was exactly Aardman's best. A lot of the early jokes fell a bit flat for me, one sequence with a bathtub seemed to go on a bit too long (and was a bit derivative of the famous train sequence in "The Wrong Trousers" in a way), and I guessed the major twist the instant it was hinted at. Still, it was enjoyable enough -- the jokes that did work were funny, and Aardman animation is always a treat to watch. XD So I can give it the "check it out" seal.

Really hot one today -- very glad I now have my own air conditioner. Spent most of the day holed up in my room enjoying the cool. Ahhhh. . . Tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to be much the same. We'll see. Wednesday I'm going up to a Gamestop job fair at Providence Place -- if it is hot and muggy, we might have an ozone alert day and I'll get to ride up free. That would be nice.

Anyway, I've got stuff going on tumblr, and a chat I can't seem to find, so later!
