Since money issues have been on my mind lately. . .
Sunday Stealing
:IF I WON 100 MILLION DOLLARS....:
What kind of car would you buy? What else -- a DeLorean. XD And I'd probably pay for someone to help me kit it out too -- either that or find someone willing to sell an already kitted-out one.
Where in the country would you move to? Florida -- all my best vacation memories are there. I'd probably end up living near Orlando to be close to the theme parks.
What kind of house would you buy? Small place -- bedroom for me, room for my toys and collectibles, kitchen, bathroom, all the standards. I don't need a honkin' big mansion.
Would you give your family any money? Natch -- probably give Mom and Dad some cash to move to anywhere they wanted to go. Mom's talked about Hawaii. . .
What charity would you donate to? I like Moose's suggestion about the clean drinking water charities -- I believe Cake Wrecks sponsors one of those in December.
Would you give your friends any money? Yeah, particularly if they really needed it.
Where would you go on vacation? California, and I might spend some to go visit the Great Barrier Reef. And naturally I'd probably go to Universal Studios at least once a year. ;)
What luxury item would you buy first? GAMING COMPUTER. Nice big one with the latest Nvidia card and lots of processing power and just joy.
Would it change your life? In the sense that it would allow me to keep living the life I want to live guilt-free. Also I'd be living in a different place, so. . .
Would you save any of it? As much of it as I could! After buying myself a place to live and my computer, I'd probably put most of it away and just keep a small amount in a special fund for vacations, toys, and charity.
Would it change your current relationship? Not in any current romantic relationships, so nothing to change there. Friendships -- well, I already said I'd be willing to give you guys money, so I assume we're cool? ;)
Would you quit your job? No job to quit at the moment! I'd probably stop looking for one, though. Carefully managed, a 100 million should get me through the rest of my life.
Would you ever work again? If I absolutely had to. . . Then again, depends on your definition of work. I'd probably look to get something published, so technically I guess I would.
What one task would you never do again? I admit, I'm horrible at cleaning, so I'd probably get someone in to dust and vacuum.
What dream of yours would you be able to do? With Moose again -- go visit the BTTF filming sites, and Universal Studios California! Also both Disneys, since I've been wanting to do that for a bit.
Would you change the way you dress? Can't think I would -- though I'd probably buy some new clothes. Can always use some new fandom T-shirts!
Would you change anything about your body? I don't think anything about it needs to be changed!
Would you miss anything about not being rich? That depends on whether or not I end up harassed by the media. If so, then I'd miss not having to deal with that. If not -- there's not much to miss.
Who would be the first person you tell? My parents -- you generally want to tell the people you live with such news.
Would it bring you happiness? Again, in the sense of letting me continue doing the things that make me happy. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but let's face it -- it does help.
