Seriously -- it was cloudy, rainy, and in the SIXTIES today, temperature-wise. I mean, talk about a complete 180 from what it was before! And while I'm glad to have a break from having to run my air conditioner all the time (it's nice, but a bit loud and a major electricity suck), I didn't want it to be quite THIS cold. I think it's supposed to warm up over the weekend though. I hope so -- although I'm dreading it means the return of the humidity too. Bleeeeeh.
Thursdays seem to be dead days when it comes to RP. On the plus side, this allows me to get farther into Monstrous Regiment. Good stuff -- especially since not only do we have Vimes and his crew in the background, we also get the cast of The Truth! William de Worde and company! XD I'd kind of missed them. Fun stuff, fun stuff indeed. . .although there's no way I'm finishing the book before it has to go back to the library. I'm going to have to buy a copy -- though I'll probably wait until I see if the Alice Kickstarter is funded. That determines whether I'm going to be down $36 on my card or not. Total is slowly climbing -- allow me to pester you with a link to it if I haven't already.
Also watched the first of the Uncanny Valley shorts on TGWTG: "Dragonbored" While I wouldn't say it really broke any new ground, I enjoyed what everyone did with their roles. And they did catch me with one minor twist at the end -- and some BTTF jokes in the stinger. XD So yeah, hooray for fun stuff there.
And now, because I am rather thirsty for some reason, I'm going to go get a drink. Later!
