Adventures In Old People World

Had another job today doing the house-sitting thing. Finally properly met the old lady whose residence I'm watching to make sure it doesn't burn down with her in it. She's nice, although having had a stroke she can be hard to understand. Which made it difficult later when I had to help her with a slipper issue. (It fell off her foot, and she's not supposed to move without help, so. . .) A bit nerve-wracking, especially since her foot didn't want to get into it, but eventually I got it back on. After that things were pretty settled, so that was good. And I got $40, so yeah. Not too bad.

Not a lot to say about the rest of the day -- wrote more on "Card Castles In The Sky," did some stuff in mallowhallow concerning the new event, and played AMA. I'm done with the chess lands and halfway through Mirror Image. I think that puts me at about halfway through the game too. Wow -- kind of weird, honestly, how fast it goes once you know everything there is to know about it. Still fun, though. And of course, it's not like I don't have the sequel to fill out October. ;)
