STOP GIVING ME FUCKING TREES

Excuse my subject line, but I am most vexated with DragonVale. Specifically, both my current Sakura breeding pairs are on a Tree kick. This is even worse than the Moss one they were on a bit ago -- Trees take two hours longer and sell for the same measly $5,000. *grr* It would KILL one of them to give me a bit of hope. . .and this is after getting two Flowers in a row last night. Hmph. I'm thinking of taking a brief break with at least one of them and breeding some Light/Metal hybrids. I don't have any of those yet, at least.

Big-ass storm fortunately did NOT happen -- snowfall was contained to a light dusting. It was cold though -- and windy as all get out. It wasn't so bad in the morning, but the few minutes I spent waiting for my second bus home were torture. I felt like I was getting sandblasted. D: And of course my hands are still all dried out as hell. . .can it be summer now? Please?

I do have a nice treat for you: Chapter 12 of "There's Always Tomorrow." We're not too far from the end here now, folks! It'll be good to have this out of the backlog, believe me. Be able to go back to my Forgotten Vows Verse with, if not no guilt, less guilt. I've been itching to do Victor/Alice stuff. Although the next fic I have planned is actually the one about Alice's family. . . Lizzie/Bonejangles will do for filler, I suppose. :P

Back to the grind for now -- one more day of school, then I get a three-day-weekend thanks to a Professional Development Day. Yay. :)
