STOP GIVING ME FUCKING TREES

Excuse my subject line, but I am most vexated with DragonVale. Specifically, both my current Sakura breeding pairs are on a Tree kick. This is even worse than the Moss one they were on a bit ago -- Trees take two hours longer and sell for the same measly $5,000. *grr* It would KILL one of them to give me a bit of hope. . .and this is after getting two Flowers in a row last night. Hmph. I'm thinking of taking a brief break with at least one of them and breeding some Light/Metal hybrids. I don't have any of those yet, at least.

Big-ass storm fortunately did NOT happen -- snowfall was contained to a light dusting. It was cold though -- and windy as all get out. It wasn't so bad in the morning, but the few minutes I spent waiting for my second bus home were torture. I felt like I was getting sandblasted. D: And of course my hands are still all dried out as hell. . .can it be summer now? Please?

I do have a nice treat for you: Chapter 12 of "There's Always Tomorrow." We're not too far from the end here now, folks! It'll be good to have this out of the backlog, believe me. Be able to go back to my Forgotten Vows Verse with, if not no guilt, less guilt. I've been itching to do Victor/Alice stuff. Although the next fic I have planned is actually the one about Alice's family. . . Lizzie/Bonejangles will do for filler, I suppose. :P

Back to the grind for now -- one more day of school, then I get a three-day-weekend thanks to a Professional Development Day. Yay. :)

Well, there's only one thing to say to that. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUNNNNN!!!

I suspect this Clara won't have the same reaction to the truth as Canon!Clara. Spare Doc the slap? Though when I was watching BTTF 3 the other night and the train scene at the end came on, I was like "Huh...how's V gonna play this out? If the dress gets caught on the train, won't that hurt Rosie? Or will it be Rosie trying to hang onto the train to keep Clara from falling until Doc can get her?" Yes thanks to you these are the things I think about now. :p

In other news, no Aquamarine yet. They seem to favor Mountains nowadays. *sigh* I am at 44mil and change though, so I'm almost able to get the Sixth Island.

Steve for some reason won me only a Silver and I threw Rooty into Plant since I know he can get me a Gold (at the very least he did last time).

Ed asked me the other night "How do you win in your dragon game and if you tell me you don't win it I'm gonna bop you." And I was like, "Uh...er...get...every...dragon in the game?" "Well how do you do that if they disappear?" "They only go away until the end of the year or next year...you know, Clover on St. Patrick's Day, etc." "So it's gonna take you a year to win?" "Maybe..." "What do you get?" "Bragging rights? This isn't really a game you can win..." *bop* "Well it isn't! You get dragons and make a pretty park!" *shake head*

Yeah, he doesn't get it. Then again, he doesn't get a lot of the stuff you and I do (like writing fanfiction as I think I told you already). :p

Mountains at least SELL better. I am SO FUCKING SICK of getting Trees it's not even funny. *grumble* Here's hoping you can snag your next island soon! Just three more Huge Trees to clear for me. . .

*shrug* Like I said, always a random element. But hey, two gems are better than no gems at all, right?

*shakehead* I guess you have to be a certain mindset to play this sort of thing. Tell him that there is an achievement for getting one of each dragon and that there are level and habitat caps, so that could be construed as "winning." Me, I'll just be satisfied if one of my Tree/Flower pairings actually produces something ten-hour. I don't even CARE if it's a Lava, it'll be SOMETHING OTHER THAN A TREE.
