As requested, I bring you DragonVale-themed fic:

Hatching )

Hope you enjoy that, Gigs! :D Also, posting this fic seems to have led to DragonVale good luck -- I just got the Jade on the first try! :O

Our teacher got stung by a wasp over the weekend, and as she's allergic, she wasn't doing so hot. She ended up having to leave for a doctor's appointment in the middle of the day, meaning the rest of us students had to find ways to amuse ourselves. For most people, this involved doing stuff with Access. For me, it meant reading stuff on the computer while working on a typing assignment. It can be tough, being ahead. At least I know what I'll need for the Liberty dragon when that appears (Copper + Air).

RPing was also pretty quiet -- only got a few threads active. Not really a problem, though, as it allowed me not only to post Gig's fic below, and get over a page written on "In The Land of the Dead," but also watch the entirety of Linkara's 300th episode over dinner. :D Three parts of glorious ranting -- and some serious stuff too, thanks to the comic in question's subject matter. And yes, there is fire. I'll keep quiet about the rest of it, so those of you who love Linkara like I do can enjoy the episode as well. :D

And finally, quiet house today, as my parents are off in Vermont for their 30th anniversary. I sent them a nice e-card. :) They seem to be having fun, so hooray for that. And I like having the house to myself, so hooray for that too! :)

Final note of the day -- Hearthstone win! My Rogue managed to beat someone's Paladin, yay. I'm am now officially level 19, and I get the June season's special card back tomorrow. :) I also believe they'll be releasing the new single-player campaign next month -- fun times, fun times. Though I don't know how much of it I'll be able to complete. . . Ah well, we'll see.

Anyway -- time to finish up some tags before hitting the sheets. Later all, and prepare to welcome in July!
