Called It Early on Tumblr

It's kind of been one of those days, ya see:

-->The weather's been really shitty -- kind of hot, VERY humid, undecided on whether or not it's actually going to rain. Enough to drive you bonkers.

-->Morning started with learning that a crash last night was a falling tree branch almost taking out my mom's car. Fortunately the decorative low stone wall around our place stopped it from doing any damage.

-->Bus ride was interesting -- driver openly admitted that things were definitely a clusterfuck with drivers not knowing where the hell they were supposed to be, and then we got word of a major accident (as in, tractor trailer flipped over) on the highway, meaning there was going to be an epic traffic jam. Fortunately, for once I had a driver with half a brain in his head -- he took an alternate route looping around the whole mess, and still got me to the city in time to catch my preferred bus! (Though, ah, helps that that one ended up being late too. . .)

-->If I have to listen to one more classmate not understand basic English punctuation. . . I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one with half a brain there. (Two are English-as-Second-Language, but the rest don't really have an excuse. I'm the youngest person there!)

-->Had to give a quick heads-up to a new RPing partner about potential godmodding -- very minor, but I felt it best to get that out of the way quick. She's new and I don't want her getting in trouble. I just felt bad because I didn't want to upset her. I'm enjoying our threads. :(

-->General "gotta get this done" rushing and tiredness.

So yeah, after a quick nighttime round of thread replies, I decided it was best for everyone if I took the rest of the evening for myself. However, I should say there were some positives:

--> I DID keep up pretty well on my queue all day -- and as I said, I'm enjoying the threads I've got. :)

-->Got a really good chunk edited on "In the Land of the Dead" today! Weirdly enough, my semi-bad mood may have helped in that regard -- I was refining the bit about Bumby being an arse to Lizzie.

-->While I continue to get no interesting new dragons in DragonVale (in fact, I've got ANOTHER Electrum in the nursery from attempting to breed a Metal/Plant Opposite), the firefly drop rate is working more or less in my favor today. I just need one more food harvest to max. (I had to give up four last night because I had to go to bed, sadly. Meeh.)

-->Hearthstone: One loss as Anduin in a mirror match, but one very decisive win as Valeera against a Malfurion. (And this is after being DOUBLE Leper Gnomed in the early stages of the game. I felt it best to clear those out quickly.)

-->We're almost done with my Office Skills class, and our last computer thing is Powerpoint, which I know very well and find very easy and fun. Yay.

All right -- gonna see if there's anything that needs queuing or otherwise taking care of, then I'm going to bed. G'night all!
