Drug Screening Completed
Aug. 6th, 2014 05:38 pmPretty simple in-and-out process, to be honest -- and didn't cost me a dime, which is nice too. Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to get in touch with me and see how things progress from here. . .
Did some more editing on "In The Land of the Dead," got chapter 3 prepped for last look and uploading, and fixed a really stupid mistake in Chapter 1 of "Forgetting You" that I really should have caught -- "blue inside of grey?" Really, Vic? *shakehead* Well, it's "instead" now, so that's all good. Also been checking in with DragonVale periodically -- nothing much interesting happening. Trying for the Leaf and the Peridot and getting neither. Meh. Also been thinking about how to rearrange my islands to make them actually look halfway decent. Still not sure how exactly I'm going to do that, but it's something to consider.
Hearthstone was my big draw today -- I have defeated my first Plague Quarter boss, Noth! Went at him two times with Jaina. First time he beat me because he kept Counterspelling all my good stuff -- second time, I was a little smarter and did my best to work around his secrets, sacrificing low-level spells and such to get the awkward ones out of the way. I also ended up killing him in an interesting way. You see, in one early match I overfilled his hand and forced him to burn some of his cards when he drew. He beat me in that one, but it gave me an idea. . .I basically forced him to draw all his cards so he couldn't keep whacking me, then let the Fatigue damage finish him off. (He tried to save himself with a "nope, you can't get lethal on me" secret when I tried to kill him with a fireball on my turn just before, buuut that doesn't protect you from the wrath of the card gods on your own turn. XD) I also did the two class challenges for the Arachnid Quarter -- which turned out to be TRIVIALLY EASY. No, seriously, I beat both the bosses used for them in one go. Granted, part of that might have been from looking up the challenges on Hearthstone's wiki to see what I was getting into -- but DAMN, it really was simple! I'm actually thinking of doing a similar deck for my Rogue or Druid for regular play. Tis fun!
All right, I have some RPing stuff to handle -- and perhaps something to look up concerning the next boss in the Naxxramus line. Later all!
