crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Marty gets a nasty shock in that a good chunk of Hill Valley thinks he's going to die in going up against Buford AND an accidental hint from Doc that his future is nowhere near as good as he thinks it is; Doc gets a painful reminder from Marty that love is sadly not really a good reason to stay in 1885 and risk screwing up the space-time continuum AND a broken heart when he can't help but try to say goodbye to Clara. Angst for everybody! At least tomorrow will fix everything. (Well, except the whole 'staying in 1885' thing, but Doc can't really help that when it happens. What was he supposed to do, speed over to the DeLorean on the hoverboard like the RoadRunner?)

VERY lazy Saturday today, which I attribute to two factors:

-->I did not wake up until almost 11 o'clock in the morning
-->It was hot and muggy as hell

End result is that I hung out in the air conditioning today as much as possible and watched all five parts of The Sims Supply playing The Sims 4. He is -- surprisingly bad at it. XD By which I mean he constantly forgets things that he means to do. And he can never seem to find anything. Granted, it's a brand new game with a brand new UI, and it's become very obvious from watching his stuff that this is a guy who works best when he just goes to town on Build Mode, but still. XD Oh Sims Supply. . . It's also a great way to get a Sims 4 fix without having to get the game. My opinion of it remains roughly the same -- while I think it's an upgrade I would enjoy (having skipped Sims 3), the price tag is a little too much for the base game. Give me weather or pets or something again and we'll talk, EA.

Not too much else to report on from the rest of my life. Nothing particularly interesting happening in DragonVale now that I've hatched my Sapphire, and nothing's been recaptured in Spellfall. I did learn something interesting the other night -- so long as you kill the boss, an area is considered "clear" -- the Temple of Fire turned from "incomplete purple" to "complete green" after I took down the dragon end boss of the stage, notwithstanding that I still had an extra double fight to complete. Interesting! I'm currently slogging through the jungle surrounding the Lost City of Kytish, which as you might expect is home to plant-themed enemies. (Including an Awdree Plant. XD) None of them are really making Eric sweat, though -- his awesome sword is pulling him through, along with some WICKED combos. I got an 11-combo chain earlier on something! :D Ahh, good times, good times. . . I seriously can recommend this game if you like RPG-style stuff and Match-3 games. I will probably enthuse about it on my tumblr for Magical Monday this upcoming week.

Anyway, I'm only now catching up with RP replies, so, um, later! ^^;
