crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
The family decided to stay over another night, so I am too. Fortunately, despite a rough day for my Mom (which I was privy to the beginning of), it's been a pretty quiet night. Very grateful for that. I ended up getting dinner out and eating at the house -- a rather disappointing one, honestly. Note to self -- the next time you get a spinach pie from someplace other than your own house or Dunn's Corners, make sure that doesn't mean just spinach inside a bread shell. Very bland, really. Glad I got some cheese-flavored rice cakes to go with it. And Dad got Chips Ahoy earlier today, so I snagged some of those for my dessert, yum yum. :)

Not much to report on for the day -- woke up a bit early thanks to not being in my own bed, then spent a good chunk of the day on TV Tropes after I got home. I did catch up with Linkara and Critic's vids (both very funny) and bookmarked the new Channel Awesome site -- don't have any real strong opinions about it, but it's serviceable. Tomorrow will be catching up with Helloween day -- we have more Goldhawk to savor! :D And "No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle." Good times, good times. . . I also FINALLY recaptured every taken area in Spellfall, so once I recharge my mana meters, I'll be ready to take on the ultimate boss again. Though he's a tough son of a bitch, that's for certain. . .might have to work on my runic combination for him.

I also took a moment and downloaded the new version of "Fruit Ninja" that was available -- which is currently stuck on a Ghostbusters theme. Apparently they never updated that from Halloween? I mean, I'm not complaining, I'm a fan of Ghostbusters, but it's kind of weird. Weirder, though, is the fact that I now have BOTH versions of Fruit Ninja on my iPad. The new version didn't overwrite the old! Fruit Ninja Classic and Fruit Ninja Modern, perhaps? Well, I've got unused powerups on the classic version, so I won't complain, I don't think.

Anyway, there was also writing (though the scene I did for "In the Land of the Dead" might end up substantially changed -- or rather combined with an earlier scene -- as I'm not entirely sure it should exist as its own thing), and I've just finished up RP replies, including completing one of my DW threads. w000, productivity~ So I guess I should keep up on all of that. G'night all, sleep tight!
