. . .Oh who am I kidding, I'm always going to do that. *headdesk* At least I'm pretty sure I'm caught up with everything, at least at the moment. And I guess it's at least partially balanced out that my late-night rping is VERY late night. Still, probably should work on at least getting in one mid-afternoon burst or something.
Saturday notes:
-->Finished up Matrix Month for the NC -- amusing reviews, and I still love calling Neo "Tom." XD Also inspired me to look up that cutscene from the "Path of Neo" videogame where the Wachowski siblings explained why they had to change the ending of the movie when they made it into a videogame. The huge City-Smith looks pretty cool, honestly. Wouldn't have minded seeing at least a variation of it in the movie -- Neo could have destroyed it before allowing Smith to infect him. *shrug*
-->Wrote just a little on "Triskaidekaphobia," but it's an important just of little -- the beginning of Chapter 4. The rest of that's been written for a while, meaning that the fic's technically finished! *waves hands in air* It needs editing, of course, and tweaking and all that good stuff, but hey, a finished rough draft is still good.
-->Played some AMA today -- got through Labyrinthine Revenge, Machinations, and -- to my intense surprise -- Royal Rage. I'd proper-saved right after the opening cutscene, expecting to die immediately in my first attempt and then leave to save the Jabberwock fight for another day. . .but then I decided "eh, I'll try a couple more times. . ." And just a few quicksaves later, I'd actually killed the bastard! Go me. :D Now it's just a matter of running a few last gauntlets to get to the Queen. . .
-->Also played some Sims 4 -- Geeker McTest is proving very good for getting a handle on the game's quirks. Though I think I may have to get a bit testy with Origin about something. . .I paid for both the base game and the Outdoor Retreat game pack, but I've yet to find any content relating to the latter IN the game. I admit I haven't searched Buy/Build mode as thoroughly as I could have, but I'm not finding what should be a very obvious "Go on Vacation" option on the phone either. . . Ugh, annoying.
-->Doing surprisingly well on rose-finding currently in DragonVale, though I've had to use some gems already to make sure I had eggs to sell. Ah well, it's all going toward the rewards. . .here's hoping I can keep up the maxing-things streak.
