Since I'm rereading a favorite Discworld novel right now (Night Watch), and rewatching a less-than-favorite Discworld TV Adaptation (Going Postal, I'll save you the rant), I was inspired to call my first Monolith Detritus, after the first troll watchman in the books. My second will be Dorfl to honor the first golem watchman. Dunno about the two breedable ones yet -- get to that when I get to them.
Another gloomy, wet day today, and tomorrow promises to be more of the same. Seems like a perfect day to work on my taxes, really. I just want to get them done this weekend so they're out of my hair and I'll have more time to enjoy myself this upcoming weekend. They're predicting more possible rain, but I've decided that's not going to stop me from heading up to the mall one day. I haven't been in a while, and I'd love to just get out and about on my own terms for a change. I have an umbrella, I'll be all right.
Not much else to say -- working on a gift fic for a friend whose birthday is Sunday, just did tumblr queues for the night, gonna do the chat thing shortly. Wish me luck with the taxes tomorrow! G'night!
