Yup, finally got my taxes out of the way today. Used TurboTax Online to do my forms and e-file them -- cost me $30 for the state filing, but hell, that's the least I've ever paid for a tax program. And I'm getting a good-sized refund if all goes well -- over a $1,000 with state and federal combined. And now I can sit easy knowing that I've gotten everything I need to submitted and out of the way. Tomorrow I'll get my April bus pass, and then this upcoming long weekend, the only thing I'll truly need to worry about is making muffins.
Taxes, vacuuming, and exercise (40 minutes on the elliptical, w00) took up the majority of my day, but I did get some other stuff done:
-->Almost maxed on my DragonVale eggs for the day -- coming up on enough to get that second pedestal, which means soon I can concentrate on getting the second Monolith dragon, w000.
-->Revised that gift fic for my friend -- should be good to go for tomorrow! :)
-->Played a little A:MR, since I just had the very end of Chapter One to finish up. Acquitted myself rather better against the Ruins this time around, and took some time to admire the scenery because having a video card that really lets me do so is awesome. :)
-->Answered messages and did RP replies, as per usual late on Saturdays with me
Actually, I guess I'm still technically in the middle of that last -- gonna go check on my tumblr dash again, then get working on reading and reviewing this story like I told a friend I'd do. If only my concentration wouldn't randomly shoot itself in the foot. . .then again, red curse finally manifested today, so I guess it's only to be expected. *shrug* Later!
