Spent the vast majority of the day out and about with Mom -- we had to get Dad's Father's Day present (we would have gotten it earlier, but we don't have time off on the same days usually, and trying to order it online was a bust), and I needed to get some new clothes, underwear, and shoes. How it went down:

-->I got my new sneakers and Mom some new sandals at DSW. Sneakers were fairly expensive New Balances -- $50 for the pair. I think they were the most expensive things I bought all day. *shrug* So long as they last!

-->Visited Kohl's for new bras -- I desperately need some new and better light-colored ones for my summer wear. Got two pair that turned out to be on sale, which was nice! We also would have gotten Dad's present -- a coffee grinder -- there, buuuut. . .

-->When Mom did some comparison shopping on her phone, she discovered it was cheaper at Macy's. So we headed over there (braving a ton of traffic because of sales) and managed to snag it -- and discovered it was even cheaper than expected! We would have paid $30 at Kohl's, but we got it for $14 instead. w0000~

-->After that was a quick stop at Trader Joe's to pick up some specialty coffee binds for him to grind up and play with -- Kona and Colombian Supreme. He tried the former earlier, said it's really good, so hooray for that. (Too bad that's the more expensive of the coffees. . .) We also got some dark chocolate peanut butter cups, which are really tasty, mmmm~

-->Had lunch at the Corner Bakery Cafe, which has done some catering for the Diocese, so I already knew it had good food. Had an excellent turkey sandwich with chips; Mom got the spinach salad with fruit and other good stuff and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yum yum.

-->After that it was across the parking lot to Saver's to see about some new clothes. Ended up getting two dresses, two blouses, and two light sweaters for when the weather's a bit cooler (or I'm freezing thanks to the aircon :P). Had to clear some older stuff out of my closet to make room for it all, but I did need some extra summer outfits.

-->A final stop for cards at Hallmark, and then it was back home! Right in time for it to start getting icky and miserable out! Was planning on a walk to break in my new sneakers, but I ended up doing so on the elliptical instead. And it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow too. . . *sigh* What can you do.

We ended up giving Dad his Father's Day presents early so he could enjoy them tomorrow morning -- he seems really pleased with both grinder and coffee, which is great. :) And Mom taught me how to make slush for homemade lemonade and the like in the Nutri-Ninja blender we own -- throw in three ice cubes with some water and hit Ultra-Blend. Voila, slushy stuff! And if you do this with ice cream and cashew milk (Mom buys that because it has less calories than the regular kind), you get a really good milkshake. Good to know!

So yeah, not really a computer day on here. Though I did get in some A:MR playtime (I'm up to right before the maze area and the Epic footstomp), and I started editing Chapter 14 (another one where it took me a minute to get started, but now I'm getting back into the flow of things). And I'm currently in the middle of some tumblr RP stuff, so I should probably get back to that. Night all!
