You can see why I don't pay THAT much attention to the fourth now, can't you? :P Anyway, there really wasn't much to Dad's birthday, though I did give him a new wallet -- his old one's been on the skids for a while now. Mom got him a new belt, though thanks to it being hand-tooled and the guy who does them being on vacation, that won't arrive until closer to the end of the month. Blah. Ah well. There was also Carvel ice cream cake -- vanilla and chocolate with chocolate crunchies in the middle. Om nom nom. So that was nice, at least. :)
Other things I did today:
-->Caught up on my Linkara, Nostalgia Critic, and Zero Punctuation videos. Linkara reviewed a trade of a crazy-awesome comic called Atomic Robo, where he fights a Lovecraftian monstrosity (with an appearance by that racist Lovecraft himself); NC ranked the Top 11 Show Openings (never saw any of them, but he's right that they had some way-interesting openings); ZP took on the latest Alone In The Dark game (which is a multiplayer shooter where you have to illuminate enemies, so -- not so much the title). All amusing :D
-->Put another set of 2012 Drabbles of Summer up on the website -- and there's a Jennifer drabble in there written in honor of the 27th anniversary of BTTF, so that makes me happy. My timing is almost never that good. :P
-->Worked some more on Chapter 15, and at the rate I'm rewriting vast sections of it, it's probably going to be up the Friday after next. Seriously, though, this chapter has a major problem with "Alice stands around and talks to herself" that I need to fix -- she at least needs to be moving while she ponders! I'll get it eventually. . .
-->Played a chunk of A:MR -- past the last Radula room and on the cusp of the last minigame. Which will not be sorry to see go, considering how irritating the one in the Dollhouse is. . . seriously, I wish they'd settled on "permanent side view" or "permanent you're in control of the camera angle view." Not to mention just how tricky some of the jumps and such are. . . Meeeh. Well, it'll be in the past by tomorrow afternoon. I'll finish off the chapter, and then, next Friday, boss fight! And last snout, can't forget that.

So yeah, pretty nice Sunday -- made even nicer by the fact I have tomorrow off too, w000~ So I'm off to answer tumblr tags and the like. Night all!
