To be fair, it wasn't so much before FF.net stopped letting you look directly at the coding for chapters. Now I have to go through a whole rigamarole of saving the file as an HTML thing and cleaning up the code in AO3 and learning that for some reason Weebly's code embed thing won't accept keyboard shortcuts for copy/pasting. . . Urgh. Between that and my period, I decided I needed the night off RP. Doesn't look like I missed too much, so small plus.
And I did get my new combo chapter up! Everyone, say hello to the new Chapter 16, which now features both the Bow Street lockup AND Cardbridge! Read it on my site, on AO3, or on FF.net. I hope you enjoy it -- I bitched enough about the trouble it was giving me before. And now it's on to the new Chapter 17! . . .Which is the one that has a very closely linked Victoria story, so, uh, don't expect speed on that one either. ^^;
Not much else to report -- plenty of stuff at work to keep me busy, so the day went by reasonably fast. Finishing up my New Game + in Spellfall -- Eric is now level 50, and laughs at most things that pretend to threaten him. Seriously, between that and the Axe of Awesome, killing things is practically a breeze. Though we'll have to see how things get once he actually gets near the final boss. . . The Great Dragon Faire continues -- I have a new Snowflake called Andersen, and I'm just saving up my tickets now. Hoping another double weekend's on the horizon! And -- yeah, that's about it. *shrug*
So -- time to throw up a couple pre-drafted DW replies, I think, then hit the sheets. Night all, sleep tight!
