Usual Late-Sunday Scramble
Aug. 16th, 2015 10:53 pmOne of these days I'm going to figure out how to do everything I need to do earlier on Sundays. . .at least tumblr wasn't too busy on my RP accounts. Just had a couple of longer replies to get out. And it's nice to get the boys interacting with people.
Hot one today -- I ended up skipping a full walk thanks to discovering it was an air quality alert day. I did get out for a bit, though -- lunch run to the local Subway. I haven't been in a while, and I wanted to try the new turkey & bacon guacamole sandwich. Pretty good, honestly. Other than that, though, I've spent most the of the day in my aircon, working on story (up to Victor's happy babble about Alice), watching Helloween (hooray Castlevania), making muffins (om nom), getting the last page of 2012 Drabbles up, and learning there's a new Sims 4 expansion pack on the horizon that -- doesn't sound like it adds a whole heck of a lot to gameplay? I mean, whatever, I ain't buying it because of my "no cash 'til no cull" stance, but it's about clubs, and doing stuff in groups, and -- I guess it's SORT of like Sims 2 Freetime?? The clubs sound like they're built around hobbies. . . I dunno. I'm sure I'll learn more about it later.
Anyway, gotta wrap things up and hit the sheets -- full workweek coming up, and another hot one tomorrow. I'll probably be wearing my cute dress because it's white without sleeves and thus good for those moments when I'll be outside. Still, suppose I should enjoy the weather while I can. . . *eyes September looming up* Night all!
