Did my editing on "Card Castles," replacing the dialogue and making little tweaks here and there -- Chapter 17 is definitely getting an updated version when CCitS goes live, although it shouldn't be more than a few bits of altered description and the like. I also found the best way to have both stories open at the same time so I can easily move chunks from one to the other -- hooray for stacked windows. Kind of weird only seeing such a small bit of the actual document at a time, but it seriously is easier than constantly switching from one to the other.

I also popped into Sims 4, though I didn't actually play any families -- instead, I spent my time getting my new game set up a bit. Since I'm starting fresh, I decided to take advantage of one of the updates and have all my Sims live in Newcrest, the free empty world they gave us via patch a while back. There's three neighborhoods -- I've decided one, where Victor and Alice are already living (technically, they're still waiting for a house) will be the main residential area, then the one with the biggest lots will be the main commerce area. The third neighborhood will be undeveloped space until I decide they need more community lots or someone wants a bigger place to live. So with that in mind, I checked out the kind of venues you can have in your world (they've got a little info button now that gives you a list, rather handy) and then went onto the Gallery and found examples of a park, a library, and a museum. Pretty awesome examples too -- the park in particular is one I found searching "Wonderland." :D It's got a ton of great Wonderlandy touches and just looks great. The museum and library are pretty cool too. I'll have to get the lot names and such for anyone who's interested. Anyway, so that's the venues for now -- I'll probably add in a lounge, and then that should satisfy my families' need to go out and about for now. After all, it's not like they can't hit the other worlds if they want to go somewhere in specific. (And I want to leave room for my Sims own stores, if I decide to go that route.)

Not much else to say -- had my usual Helloween marathon (including Hearthstone ramblings, Claire Redfield getting kidnapped (RE: Revelations 2), and Lovecraftian Dracula (Castlevania: Circle of the Moon)); got that Fifth Monolith egg at last in DragonVale; took a nice walk (warm but not really humid, w000 yes); and now I'm doing the usual late-night catch-up on various replies. Which I should probably get on a bit more. . .so later!
