crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
It's been in the 40s pretty much all day, along with rain -- light in Providence, damn near pouring at home. Just bleeeeeeh. Does not help the day go by, especially when you're doing roster maintenance stuff for most of it.

However, I can't complain about all of it -- I finished off another chunk of the new version of Chapter 19, with Victor meeting the man who, if things weren't about to go completely to hell, might have been his landlord. Rather like being able to do this stuff on-screen -- and to have another guy who's actually friendly to Victor for a change. Wanted to show that the East End wasn't ENTIRELY garbage.

There's also new fanarts to share: Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 of "Losing You" illustrations by lilyenrenn (which includes a very nice shocked Victoria and a quite feelsy bit with Victor and the oak tree); and "Just Try It, Asshole" and Makeover Madness from nebbychan. :D (seriously, doesn't Alice look like Victoria in that second Nebby one?) I do love me some fanarts.

I also love showing off things that I meant to show off last weekend, so here -- FINALLY some pictures of my new necklace (these are thumbnails, click for the big version):

Watch lace
Here's the front of it -- don't you love those musical notes? :) Certainly what helped get me interested in it.

Back of Watchlace
The back is nicely done too, with flowers galore. Makes me think of Victor and Alice a bit (music and nature).

The Watch Part
And here's the actual watch bit! Really works and everything -- though the clasp is a bit loose, so it has a tendency to pop open if it hits anything. And it does swing around a bit when I walk, so. . . It holds well enough, though, and it's nice to have. Been a while since I wore jewelry, but this is up my alley.

All right, with that obligation fulfilled, I'm off to do DW stuff! Night all, sleep tight, hope it's dry where you are!
